TRAVEL ITINERARY

The Marangu Route, also known as the Coca-Cola Route or Tourist Route, is a classic trekking route on Kilimanjaro and was the first commercially developed route. In contrast to the other routes, where you have to camp, accommodation is in sleeping huts. The Marangu Route is considered the easiest route as it gradually approaches the summit. However, the ascent and descent are on the same path, which makes it a more frequented and less scenic mountain hike compared to the other trekking routes. The minimum duration for this route is 5 days, although 6 days is recommended.
